Hi! I'm Alisa, the founder of The Hairy Fairy! In 2022, The Hairy Fairy was created in the beautiful coastal town of Kiama, NSW. What began as my bustling kids’ party business in 2017, filled with weekend bookings for face painting and balloon twisting, quickly evolved when I introduced hair braids into the mix in 2022. The response was overwhelming—and before I knew it, the braids and reusable ponytails had taken over. And that’s how The Hairy Fairy’s magical journey began!

We only source the finest synthetic hair to ensure every ponytail is of the highest quality. Our range has grown to also include biodegradable glitter, dress-ups, and a variety of kids’ accessories.
